Fairus is great software. The GUI is really nice to use. Such a pity development was ceased. I never regretted purchasing the full program as the free lite version was too restrictive for me and older full unrestricted versions buggy excepting 2.
The 3D bit is redundant- who bothers with that? I noticed no major quality differences to my eyes between using its Fast preset or Very Slow H preset.

The xvid is quality too. Would have been nice if a mild denoiser was incorporated like RemoveGrain mode5 for some tairuse dvd sources, but I find the build of H calms the grain down sufficently, so no need. This tool is still of some major use and better than most of that crapware out there! T on Aug 12, Version: Windows 8 bit Ease of use: To avoid errors in Fairuse Wizard select 'normal' error checking, because if 'agressive is dizard sometimes part of the film fairhse discarded, eg you might miss an intro of 30 seconds as it is discarded as an error.
